CRAFTING A LIFE THROUGH SOUND
Born and raised on the Northeastern Italian coast, Martino Garattoni has been in the metal bass scene for almost two decades. He started playing his first notes at the age of 13, then took it seriously by learning from the best instructional DVDs on the market back at the beginning of the new century.
A GLOBAL VOICE IN PROGRESSIVE METAL
Most notably known for his work in the Australian Progressive Death Metal band Ne Obliviscaris, which Martino joined in 2017, allowing him to tour globally and write music full-time. Martino is also the co-founder of the Epic Power Metal band, Ancient Bards, which released 4 records over the last decade and has worked as a session player throughout the years. He also has worked as a bass guitar teacher since 2012.
